Our Mission

The mission of D&P Medical Group is to provide unique and individualized client services in the areas of wound care, hyperbaric medicine, clinical research, product development, and consulting services.

D&P Medical Group was founded by Dr. Bryan Doner and Dr. Keyur Patel, who are extensively trained and credentialed in the fields of wound, hyperbaric and emergency medicine. D&P offers a multitude of services including clinical research, consulting/advisor relations, clinical provider coverage and education, product development and presentation, and medical expert/witness, to mention just a few. Our education, experience, and relationships with current industry leaders provide D&P Medical Group with an opportunity to provide unique and individualized services to all of our clients.

Our Team

Bryan Doner

Bryan Doner, DO, CHWS, FAPWCA

Dr. Doner received his undergraduate education at Denison University and completed a graduate program in Medical Sciences at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He then completed his medical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, immediately followed by residency training in Emergency Medicine at Saint Vincent Health System (Erie, PA). In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Doner has undergone extensive, fellowship level training in both Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, a Certified Hyperbaric & Wound Care Specialist (CHWS) by the American Board of Wound Healing, and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association (FAPWCA). In addition to being the President/CEO of D&P Medical Group, Dr. Doner currently serves as Medical Co-Director of the Wound & Hyperbaric Center, Medical Director of the Primary Stroke Center, and attending Emergency Physician at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

Keyur Patel

Keyur Patel, DO, CHWS, FAPWCA

Dr. Patel received his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University and then completed his medical education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Saint Vincent Health System (Erie, PA). In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Patel has undergone extensive, fellowship level training in both Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Certified Hyperbaric & Wound Care Specialist (CHWS) by the American Board of Wound Healing. In addition to being the Vice-President/CMO of D&P Medical Group, Dr. Patel currently serves as Medical Co-Director of the Wound & Hyperbaric Center and attending Emergency Physician at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

Dustin Durham

Dustin Durham, PA-C

Dustin completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007, and went on to work in accounting for 5 years. He returned to Chatham University in 2012, and graduated with his Masters of Physician Assistant studies in 2014. He is board certified by the NCCPA. He has worked primarily in Emergency Medicine since graduating. After additional training in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, he joined D&P Medical Group in 2018.

Sandi Kapp

Sandi Kapp, RN, CWCN, CFCN, BOCPD, CDME

Sandi graduated from Citizen General School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. During her nursing career she specialized in wound and ostomy care in the acute, home care and private practice settings. From the WOCNCB, she has attained her Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification and Certified Foot and Nail Care Nurse (CFCN) credentials. She is a licensed Pedorthist with a Certification for Durable Medical Equipment (CDME) by the BOC. Over the last 10 years, she focused on lower limb care for prevention of ulcers, shoe gear and patient education. Sandi will be assisting the doctors with assessments, foot and nail care, treatments and adjunctive therapies.

Heather Harvey

Heather Harvey

Heather started traveling to homes in Armstrong County as a personal care aide after high school. Once completing a course at Lenape Technical School’s adult education program and receiving her certification as a nursing assistant (CNA), she began working at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA. In the nineteen years she was employed by ACMH, Heather went through extensive clerical training and spent the last ten years as a unit clerk on med-surg, telemetry, oncology, and intensive care units. She is currently the office manager for D & P Medical Group’s North Hills location.
